Featuring the 3rd single with Geoff Garcia on drums, My Mistress dealves into the topic of suicide and what might be waiting for us on the other side if we exit this world prematurely. From the synthesizer intro, our new single sets the scene, accompanied by the etheral texture provided by Lacey Levi’s guitar feedback, overlayed by an almost melancholy bass line played by Chace Levi, we reach the climax of the story with a cacophony of drums and musical textures, the instruments paint the picture of what it like staring into the abyss.

Austin-based Surf/Psych/Rock band, My Mistress, comprised of three musical virtuosos, staking their claim on the Austin scene with their modern approach to Surf/Psych/Rock. These three lifelong musicians captivate audiences with their superb talent, thoughtful songwriting and catchy melodies. The band touts an engaging repertoire of tunes that seamlessly blend raw, soulful grooves with a more adventurous take on Surf & Psych rock.
